Earlier today I took a nap. (I work nights and decided to catch a nap before my oldest daughter had to be walked to the bus for school.
During this peaceful repose (as peaceful as it gets with two little girls in the house.) I had a couple of weird dreams. one of them I can not remember but the other one;
O.K. here's what happened in brief (In the dream).
My wife and youngest daughter, Megan, were walking through a mall shopping, somehow it was open during MY usual hours not my family's (remember I work nights).
So there we were shopping, I do not know where my oldest daughter was. At one point Megan fell a little behind her Mother and I; and an unknown lady helped her to catch up to us again mentioning that "3 year olds go blind if they don't get enough sleep".
I looked at Megan's eyes and they were a kind of grey color like the iris had been washed out and her pupils were VERY black. Then we took her home to let her sleep so she could get her sight back.
It was a very weird dream!
Anyway the reason it is here, is because My wife asked if we could use that as a "threat" for our little girls; "if you don't sleep you will go blind".
And then she said I should blog it so here we are.
